Hello all, I’m fairly new and hoping to revive this thread. I recently won a home at tax auction. I have no clue how to proceed. I would be grateful for any and all info to forward on redemption.

Hello, i hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the holidays. Here's the deal:

I won a tax sale property through civicsource.

Civicsource said they make sure all paperwork is officiated. The home / house comes with tax deed and title insurance (i believe 100k)

Can I can flip a tax property.

Its a 1950s home so I will have to rehab  ac, plumbing,  electric, minimum.

this is my first deal and I'm trying to find out how to get my money out of it with rehab.

should I initially refinance, heloc , or use private money?

I'm looking forward to entering this venture especially with this property but now I have it and don't know what to do lol

Hello

Im new yet eager.. Im buying a home here in Shreveport LA. I only paid 25k for it. I am now thinking about refinancing to rehab. Should I?

I purchased online so I honestly don't know enough about home or comps as each website states different.
I think renovations will run around 15k.

Its 4br 2ba.

I want to update kitchen, bathrooms lighting and exterior.

My uncle said not to bother with the remodel and instead put someone into the home, as it would decrease my monthly payments and she didn’t believe such remodeling would actually add that much value.

Any opinions here? I’m thinking at the very least to do the floors ($2k) and then not bother. Should I just go with the refi to accomplish remodel or listen to my uncle and put tenant into the house?

Anything would help. Than
