Checking in I purchased 2 properties and turned one from a single family to a duplex in the last several months bringing my total to 970k in real Estate, Bought my first auction house what a rush! Now I just need to stir up another 30k worth of real estate to reach my goal by November! the biggest issue I am having now is i've over extended myself a slight bit with the amount of cash needed to get these properties. My safety net isn't where I want to be. But the pressure of the goal is setting it which is driving me forward! Thanks for all the tips B.P going for the Buy a Million Own a Million Net a Million, I'm also more interested in commercial properties now then the Rental's what are your thoughts with commercial VS residential?

@blair Knowles ...this is our house haha ;) hi @chris good work buddy! I think the difficulty is that the bank was paying the taxes and they're adding that in on top...but yeah I'd say the argument would be well get it back on the market again

Yes the House is in fairfield Vermont Good work Nick! I can agree the pontential for this property to generate any kind of income was not the direction for it. I also own a business called www.GruntsMoveJunk.com and I needed a building with lots of shop and storage space for the equipment so 999 Barry Rd was a primary residence with business storage... 2 years for this building and hopefully sell it for a commercial building.

Speaking the to Grind! I cant tell you how many times I've thought about popping smoke in Vermont and going to a bigger city to reach the goals. Especially when it comes to surrounding myself with successful millionaire minded individuals. (we will see where I end up in the near future)

Nicole,
No worries if you have an agent you are comfortable that is the most important!
Like most agents, I have an extensive network of lenders that will help you with your credit, Kim Negron at Homebridge can get you pre approved over the phone in 30 minutes and help you save time with the entire process. I work a ton with first time home buyers and that is why working with a buyers agent is so important.

It is a huge investment! I am confident that I can answer any of your questions that you may have a long the journey.

Btw I lived in PA for a few years while attending college in Johnstown.

That is where one of my rental properties are. I've been eyeing an 8plex in PA havent pulled the trigger yet.

I understand you're working on your credit and finances at the time, I have worked with buyers thats scores were sub par and still showed them a couple homes. Within a couple months they had their scores high enough to close on a 203K loan where they had a nice check covering some renovations. Think about it, when your ready give me a call 802-324-9771

Nicole Carey,

Lets Work Together!

Firstly Welcome to bigger pockets! I love this site!

I wish I could pick up the phone and give you a call!

I am a Realtor at Keller Williams in Colchester and I would be delighted to help you navigate the home buying process.

I can give you a personal one on one Home buying class FREE OF CHARGE!

The great thing about being a buyer is that 99% of the homes listed the sellers have already agreed to pay the agents commision! This works out great for you because you get the expertise and experience of working with an agent at no cost to you!

Check out my website www.RealEstateinVT.com or give me a call at 802-324-9771 and lets sit down and talk about some options!

I look forward to meeting you and lets get this ball rolling!
