Thanks everyone!

After about 6 months of researching and trying to spot the trends i finally put in my fist offer on a property. It was listed on a Wednesday, checked it out on Friday and had my offer in on Saturday. Offered full list price with 20% down.. outbid by 39k on Monday!

Hey Bigger Pockets Community!

My name is Jonathon Wentzel i'm 28 from Essex County NJ. I have no real estate background but i am currently working with a agent to find my first multi-family property. I'm looking at it as a way to grow long term assets and with a (hopefully) well developed portfolio i like the potential for a semi passive income stream. 

For my profession i own two businesses in the e-commerce sector. Besides hunching over spreadsheets and financial calculators i enjoy fishing, driving, snowboarding and surfing!
