How would you suggest for someone to get started in real estate with low capital and not much experience?

@Ryan Mainwaring Hey Ryan! I’m a newbie investor and as of right now, my ultimate goal for going into real estate would be to build a passive income for myself. I know it won’t be as easy, but I want to find the right path that would be allow me to achieve that goal.

I've been seeing a lot of controversy on what could potentially have a larger ROI, investing in single or multi family units. A lot of the books I have been reading, specifically by Micheal Blank and Grant Cardone, states that multi family investing is the way to go and single family units don't generate a large return and are more of a headache.

Opinions?

@Cameron Tope

Very true! That’s one thing I always found essential when looking for a mentor. Someone who not only has seniority, but someone who knew what they were doing and actually gained profit. Thank you!

I’m currently seeking mentorship when it comes to real estate investing. Any idea of what I should be looking for in a mentor?
