A newbie working on the purchase of my first SFH or multi-family rental in upstate NY.

I have found one property I am interested in a a great neighborhood.  My only issue it is a 3/1 with no possibility of adding in a half bath.  I'd ideally like a 3/1.5-2 but they seem in short supply.

How do I get off the fence and make the plunge?

Hi All,
My first post and a newbie but here goes.
Quick summary of home: Bay Area home 3bd/2bth Eikler style home with radiant floor heat built in 1955. Home has not been remodeled since it was built with the exception of one bathroom. Does anyone know if the radiant heating systems have issues? If so, what might be the costs of replacement? The system is built into the concrete slab but unsure if it leaks. Trying to get a ball park figure if it needs to be replaced.
Thanks for any insight you all might have in regards this issue.
