So it sounds like I should definitely speak to a Real Estate Lawyer to get a better idea of how to structure and put together an operating agreement. Thank you all for your feedback!

Hey everyone!

So I am a joint owner of a rental property with my siblings that we inherited when our mother passed. We're currently turning over the property and an issue came up where one of the siblings wants some money back from a repair they took care of years ago with our previous PM. This was a really good reminder that we need to put together some sort of operating agreement and some other policy paperwork as well but I'm not sure where the best place is to start or should we just get a lawyer? Would hiring a  lawyer be cost efficient for something like this?

My siblings and I own a home in the Stone Mountain area of GA. The home is paid off and it's in the 30088 zip code. We have tenants in it now but I wanted to turn it into a multi-family (duplex) with 3bd 2bth in one and 2bd 1bth in the other. It's been a while since I've lived there so I'm researching what the rents are like in that area. Does anyone have experience with zoning and rents in this area?
