Thank you John and Christina I appreciate the support! The Bigger Pockets podcast is great I've been listening for a few weeks now

Hello everyone

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to real estate investing and I've decided that I want to pursue this as a serious career in hopes that I can one day leave my current job. My short term goals to get started would be to get into the wholesaling side of real estate and earn capital to eventually invest in purchasing properties on my own for renting and also fixing/flipping. Been doing tons of research and it seems like New York can be a challenging area to getter started in as a newbie. I have my LLC set up, a rough outline business plan and will be joining my local REI but as far a taking the plunge I'm suffering from the infamous "analysis paralysis" when it comes to finding deals and making things happen. I've considered investing in a paid mentor but I've heard so many mixed reviews about going that expensive route and a lot of those courses offerings by out of state gurus are one size fits all and not everything can apply to a state like NY. I would love to network with other investors of all levels of expertise and possibly find someone who I can partner up with and provide assistance to in their own business in some way in exchange for gaining knowledge and hands-on experience.

Whether your new or seasoned please feel free to reach out. Always looking to connect with new people and help out however I can.
