Calling All Landlords...the meeting next week is for you!

3 Years ago Edwin "Stick" Dissosway started a group called "Landlord Mastermind" as a place for landlords to learn and network. The theme of the meetings is "Share what you know and Learn what you don't". He will be our speaker next month to share some of his knowledge and experience about being a landlord.

Stick's approach to investing is slow and steady growth. He started with a single house in 2007, developed it into a house buying model that allowed him to buy 4 houses per year for 6 straight years. He accelerated in 2014 (12 houses) and he joined the 50 house club earlier this year. Developing systems as you grow is critical to maintaining sanity while achieving success. Having goals helps too.

Finally, even if you're not a landlord, this meeting will have some info for everyone. Here's one example: do you have a mastermind group you meet with regularly? A mastermind group is a very powerful tool for growing a business (true whether you have 1 or 50 houses).

ARV easy $110K

I have a property for sale that has already had a lot of work done.  It had been vandalized so the current owner has cleaned it up, put up new sheetrock, new HVAC, new roof, new water heater, sanded the wood floors, removed the kitchen floor tiles, new tile in bathroom, new electric box and plumbing updated.  So it just needs finished out.  It needs paint, floors finished, baseboards, sliding doors replaced, kitchen installed, and maybe a bit more work in the bathrooms.  It has a awning over back porch that needs to be raised or removed.  The exterior could be updated but not necessary for the area.

Hey everyone! I started a BP meetup a year ago Oct. we meet the last Weds. of every month at 7pm at the Colleyville Center 5301 Riverwalk Colleyville TX 76034 We would love to have you join us. We are on Meetup but I am not allowed to put the link on here. If you PM me I would love to provide the link. I do post the event on BP events every month as well. The meetings are free and I do not allow anyone to sell anything. I hate going to the local REI meetings and it is just a sales pitch to buy the latest guru's stuff. We always have a speaker there to educate us and we provide free food and drinks. It is a great group with over 200 members. We usually have 40 - 60 people attend and it is great networking.
