Please kindly provide your advice. I will be moving to another state on a pcs military order in less than 2 weeks and I still haven't found a buyer for my home. Do I have any remedy other than to continue to pay the mortgage until the house is sold. Unfortunately will be paying rent and mortgage!

@Jared Newsom Thank you and it makes sense what you said. I was just surprised to find out that landlord policy will be more expensive that my homeowner insurance for the same home. I had the impression that landlord policy is usually cheaper than homeowners insurance. I will look into an independent agent as you suggested.

Please what company has the best and less expensive rate for landlord's policy? I was under the impression that landlord's policy is cheaper than homeowners insurance. I'm switching my Homeowner's insurance to landlords policy because I will be renting it out but I'm surprised to receive a quote that doubles my Homeowner's insurance when I thought landlords policy will be a lot cheaper. Please kindly recommend a good company with good rates for landlords policy. Thank you!
