Thank you everyone. i appreciate every advice. i will try to find a real estate attorney asap. it is an unfortunate for me because all this time i was too naive to think my ex husband would do this to me. i really trusted him. i guess people do change.

Hi, i am in need of some advice. i really don't know what to do or who to talk to about the situation i'm in. well, my exhusband and i divorced last year. i wanted to sell the house but he told me that he wanted to keep it. he was going to refinance it and then just buy me out. for months ive been asking him if he had refinance it and he would tell me no and that he was having problems with it. at that time his brother and his family were living with him and paying him rent. my exhusband is in the military by the way. but then a couple of months ago he calls me saying that we need to forclose it because his brother and family are leaving and that he can't afford it alone. i told him no because he promise me when he decided to keep it that he will not mess up my credit. we either can try to sell it (but if we are negative he will have to come up with the difference himself) or he find roommates. he said he will try to find roommates. but then just a couple of weeks ago, he tells me that things are not going so well and that he is moving out of the house and moving at his girlfriend's apartment. so now the home is vacant and i am stuck with a $535K house in otay ranch, san diego. i cannot afford it. we have two interest only loans and the total mortgage payment will be $3600/mo. there are no late payments yet, but this month will be the first. what are my options and what exactly is forclosure and how am i affected by it and who exactly do i talk to about this matter? pls help. thank you.
