Hi Greg, 

Thanks for the feedback! I do plan to live in the home for a short time then I want to sell. It's not my first house, but it is in a USDA up and coming area of GA so I will have some of the first time home buyer benefits of down payment assistance etc...

Hi all! I am a newbie to bigger pockets and house flipping, but I am wanting to get started. I am approved for a conventional loan and now I am wanting to invest. Should I buy a new home in an up and coming area or should I purchase a rehab in an exsisting neighborhood? How can I use as little of my money as possible and still turn a decent profit when I sell? My intention is to flip the house soon after purchase (1yr or less).
