Looking for investor friendly agents experienced in the new jersey area. I currently live and work in new york, but decided to invest in jersey. What are the best locations near the city where rentals are a main focus? This would be my first deal, and i plan on house hacking a duplex or triplex.

Sorry for the late response. You guys gave me plenty of information. I’ve decided not to go with it because I feel that’s for a more experienced investor. I’m amazed at all the knowledge you guys have and thankful for each of your responses. You’ve helped me make the right decision.

An agent shows me a deal. I buy the note for a multi family for 18 months. I attract all income with the current tenants already established in the property. Is this a good deal for a first time buyer?

Hey I'm looking to build relationships with contractors who are experienced with 203k loans. I'm currently looking for my first deal in the NY / Westchester area. I plan to finance the property with an FHA loan and I know I would need contractors experienced in this type of loan. If there are any of you out there please feel free to comment.

Hey @Account Closed I'm interested in buying a three or four family home in the Yonkers area. My strategy is to finance with an FHA loan so I would need to acquire the property at a low cost to compensate for the rehab budget that would go into the mortgage. So somewhere around 150 - 175,000 is my sweet spot

Hello BP community! I'm currently looking for my first property. I live in NYC but cant afford to buy in the city as of now. I would like to venture out to Yonkers being that the market is much cheaper than the city. Does anyone have any experience in this market?
