I had a lawyer do the foreclosure process. Based on your response, I guess they didn't file new deed or notify the tax authority. Are these things I can do myself? If so... Any guidance? Thanks

I purchased several tax deeds in GA in 2014. I held onto the properties hoping they would ripen. I completed the foreclosure process on all 3. Here are my questions: 1. When I look up my properties the former owners are still showing…why? How to I change this? 2. All correspondence…taxes due, assessments, etc…go to the former owners. 3. Did I overlook something? What are my next steps? I want to sell one of the properties.

Thanks for any advice. Shelly
