Highly recommend these groups! Great sharing of info and fun/friendly with great connections and lots of interesting guest speakers. 

Great post, good points all around. We are midway through the fixup on our first flip and learning lots of these types of things along the way. We are finding that making the effort to really engage the contractors in our project and sharing our enthusiasm with them about this and future projects seems to really make the work go better also. Great suggestion on using Google drive for communication flow. Good luck on quick and profitable sale!

@Robert Salazar  Excellent. Thank you. I haven't had a moment to research any such options yet. I think we'll be focusing on demo and fix-up in the near term, but we do need to make sure to fit time in for networking (and using this site's resources!)

I did not know how to do responses to posts correctly, so that was a helpful pointer (if I'm doing this right!) So many resources on the site that I'm excited to explore but so little time available to be online right now!

@John Mathewson - thanks, it's exciting for sure, and really interesting how different the purchase process and remodel planning has gone since it's not a property we will have for ourselves. Lots of restraint to keep from overdoing things that would cut into profit range too much for this property, but still creating a super saleable product!
