@Greg Olkhovsky Pinellas County has a ton of meetups, some of the best are the exchangers meeting which is on Thursday Mornings, 9am at Denny's on 34th st in St Pete (just north of 38th ave). That is a great place to learn about our market as a money lender. My team hosts a Cashflow 101 game night monthly at Advanta IRA in Largo that would be great to help you find folks to lend to, you can get the details on my cashflowguys events page.

@Matthew Hell The interview isn't happening it seems.  I was willing to do the interview provided I could present both sides of the story (the accuser and accused).  Since nobody (but Scott) came forward willing to be interviewed I don't wish to provide only one side of the story by interviewing only him.

Jay, I don't doubt that lawyers have given advice; however, plenty of people have posted here on Bigger Pockets already where it will stay viewable forever.  

I am surprised that someone who already publically posted mentioning themselves as being victimized would then go silent even though some of them specifically mentioned: "reaching out to podcasts and the media" as part of their plan. 

I would agree that for Scott, it's a big move and a bold statement to subject himself to an interview on the topic.  Now, because everyone has chosen to remain silent, he can tell any story he wants and the masses will presume him innocent because noone is willing to speak up to the contrary.  

I won't do a one sided interview out of fairness to both sides of the situation.  By only telling one side of the story, objectivity goes out the window.  I tried to help but don't want anyone to feel pressured, so I consider the matter closed.

All, BP deleted my post regarding interviewing the victims due to it being deemed "self-promotion".  

I'm not quite sure what I can say about that but I am not a difficult person to find online, so, if you have been wronged by this situation and want to share your story, then message me, please.  

I have no intention of taking sides in this mess, instead, my intent is to share this story with the investment community on a bigger scale so that everyone can learn from this situation and avoid situations like this happening in the future.

Either way, I intend to interview Scott because I'd like to know what happened here (both sides of the story), and I'd like the investment community to be clear on the facts.  

If nobody comes forward to share their story, then why do these posts exist? 

Here is your chance to be heard, and perhaps your story could protect someone else from experiencing what you have...

For that to happen, BOTH sides of the story need to be presented.  If only one side speaks up, there is only one story to tell..

Hi Everyone, Like Dan Zitofsky, I am sickened to hear of this situation and can't imagine how those affected must feel right now.  As some of you might know, I host a popular Real Estate Podcast.  In the spirit of bringing this situation to light in order to help all investors learn from situations like this, I would like to invite anyone who has been victimized by this sort of situation to be a guest on the podcast in order to share their story.  I feel that stories like this help keep everyone safe and promote doing good business by educating the public on red flags to watch out for.
