Post: Phoenix Peak Season Help

Hello Phoenix investors and real estate professionals,

I understand peak real estate season is near, and I am willing to help. I have completely open availability during the day, seven days a week (nights I bartend). I recently earned my degree in Urban Planning from Arizona State and am very intrigued by the idea of passive income and real estate in general. My goal is to learn while easing your workload. My goal is not to eat into your income.

I'm interested in all aspects of real estate so please reach out with any opportunities, even if it is short term.

Thank you for reading.

Best,

Shawn Watts

Hello I am looking to obtain a salesperson real estate license in California. I plan to spend about 6-12 months in a relatively inexpensive city (anywhere in California) that is close enough to a good real estate school.

Once I obtain my license I plan to move to the Bay area where I will begin my career.

So, can anyone give me some valuable advice on whether top companies prefer specific licensing schools or if it even matters. Also if there is anything else you think I should know feel free.

Thank you

Hello,

I go to school at Arizona State University and live in Tempe, Arizona. A great population of students live in houses surrounding the campus and I would like to purchase a house that I would rent out to students or families in Tempe. The problem is I am very new in the RE game and need advice and tips on this kind of strategy. I would like to get started near the end of the upcoming school year (May 2015) giving me plenty of time to plan and develop some capital.

If anyone has experience in this type of REI please share your experiences and/or advice.

Thanks

@Dusty Corning Thank you for your advice!

Is this how you got started? Also, what would be my duties and how would I even get hired without any real world experience in real estate?

@Darren Sager Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Given my situation-- earning my degree, no money, young... When do you think is a practical and realistic time to really get out there and start investing? How much money would I need to save up?

Hello all!

I am completely new to real estate investing but I'm eager to learn the trade. I just turned 19 and I am just finishing my first year of college at Arizona State University. I have no money, no connections, and no knowledge of real estate investing WHATSOEVER. But like I said I would love to get started early and someday start up my own company. I need ADVICE, HELP, TIPS, ANYTHING that you think will benefit me for the future.

If you read this, thank you. Please shed your wisdom.
