Honestly we have been too busy with other lead sources, and with how the market has been that I cut back on probate leads. I need to start ramping it up again and I would love to brainstorm with you. I can breakdown the service I used, how I had my VA scrub and pull the leads I wanted and the touches I made.

I run a meetup out in Northridge, and I am very involved in real estate in Santa Clarita. I would love to work on setting up a meet up out there. We have missed having our meet ups in person lately with Covid, and can't wait to get back to them

What area are you located in and what area would you like to invest in?

Some suggestions I would have it to take advantage of this site:

- Set up keyword alerts in your area

- Read forum and blog posts

- Get all of the BP books that you can read

- Attend ALL local investors meet ups (Even if on zoom right now with Covid)

Hey Craig, Do you have any more information on the home and the condition? I do a lot of deals in Santa Clarita, but they are mostly retail sales. As the area is fairly new, and mostly planned developments, there is not usually much room for flips, repairs or value add deals. 

That being said, I would love to talk and be of any help that I can be with my experience out there

Can you tell us more about your situation? Using it to manage your own investments? How many units do you have? Or are you starting a property management company?

Buildium is great for a property manager or when you have a decent portfolio, but there are many free versions that work great for a small portfolio or single unit

I have my Masters of Real Estate Development from USC. This was a great investment for me, but I would not recommend a masters for most real estate investors. This degree and the school have helped me a lot in fundraising for projects, as it is trusted by investors, and the connections were amazing for the development side of the business. 

If you are looking to get into investing, I would say use this website, podcasts, and local real estate meet-ups as your education. Go offer your time to a local investor for free and learn from him as your help him on deals. The money will come to you, don't be greedy up front
