I'm a super newbie. I heard on the podcast a couple times of some people who bought a house with cash, no mortgage at all, and used the BRRR method. I don't understand how you can refinance a house that has no mortgage? What am I missing or not understanding?

I thought I heard Brandon talking about an app that you could take pictures of houses and it would mark it on a map and give you more info on the property. Did i here wrong? If not then could somebody tell what app this is?

@Jay Hinrichs thank you so much for your time and wisdom. I’m going to do some more research on this. Specifically what you and Greg have mentioned here. Again I bet much appreciate your time and help.

@Greg Dickerson. Thank you so much! Very helpful! A lot of things here that I overlooked. I’m going to keep my eye on it and do some more research and make some phone calls and try to learn as much as I can about this deal. I really believe there is an opportunity here. If anything to just see if my instincts are right 🙂

Ok so since I have been listening to BiggerPockets podcasts (6 months now) I notice possible opportunities to do things with real estate all the time. One of those things is a property that I drive by every day. It seems as though the area I’m living in is growing and thriving. We are in Western Lower Michigan right up against Lake Michigan, and our summer months are packed with vacationers! So anyways getting to the point, I feel like it is only a matter of time until Foreign car dealership of some kind comes to our town. We have a stretch of highway that has a Chevy, Ford and Dodge dealership all within a mile of each other and lots of Commercial property around these dealerships that is for sale. I have been contemplating possibly trying to wholesale one of these lots to a foreign car dealership. But have no idea if this is possible or where to even start. I see an opportunity to make some money and add value to our community. I do not know where to start. Never done this before. Thoughts?

And Contractor was the closest thing to describe me. I have worked in Construction for 20 years but do not have a GC license. I do have building inspection license however in the state of Michigan. Thank you for your time

Hmmm, to be honest that seems a little misleading to me, in my personal convictions, I think I would try to be as upfront and transparent as possible with all parties.
