Hello everyone! Thought it was time to introduce myself. I’ve been lurking for a while, reading and learning as much as I can. This is a great site with lots of valuable information and resources! Thank you to all who contribute your time and wisdom.

A little about myself: I have a varied background ranging from sales to management, with no real career path as I’ve spent the last 20 some odd years raising kids and following my military career husband all around the nation.  I wouldn’t change a thing about my life, however, it’s been a honor to help him serve our country and a really fun adventure, as well. 

So, why am I here? Well, my husband is retiring from active duty and we are moving back home to Lawrence, KS this summer. We’ve had lots of discussions about what we want to get involved in post military and both of us are interested in building our investment portfolio in the NE area of Kansas. We are mostly interested in buy and hold for rental properties, initially.  I look forward to getting to know other investors and professionals in our area!
