I’m looking for someone who is a investor with rentals , someones ear to pick a little bit up the ups and downs of the game. And the soon to be booming places and the soon to not to be booming places . Someone to help me figure ot witch way to go . I’m pretty picky when it comes to committing to a property . Because I’m assuming the debt to income ratio is going to limit me a lot more on what i want for my personal home , if i have a rental first. But I’m not sure that’s why I’m on here trying to figure things out .@Nadia White 

Lot to think about , gonna be a timely mattered decision .thats for sure . I have a property coming up that is a good neighbor good and values hold on the neighborhood. So maybe a live in flip i don’t want my first rental property to have 100,000 invested ya know ?@Account Closed

I have man but i can’t really find any duplex that I’m interested in and i wouldn’t want my tenets being my neighbors .

@Jay Hinrichs lotta good input. He more and Mor me i think about it, i might just wanna do a move in flip and if i end up liking the house stay in it and if i don’t then I’ll sell it when finished . I’m new to all this so i don’t know a Bunch about the tax situations Just yet but I’m single and 23 don’t see marriage in the near future lol

@Vaughn Smith the interest rates is a solid point . I never really took that into consideration . I’m going to have to look into that some more beings i wouldn’t want a higher rate for my personal home . Thanks for the input .

So I don’t really think I want to own my own home just yet. But I really want to get involved in real estate . Can i hear some pros in cons about this situation? I don’t want to buy a rental home and then not be able to buy my own home for like 7 years. I would really rather wait and buy my own home in about 3 years. But will having rentals affect what i will be able to buy ?
