Looking at a property in MA. The problem is that it has two asbestos insulated furnaces (snowmen) in the basement & it has a slate roof. I hear slate roofs are durable but more expensive to fix. Anyone have experience on the cost or removing these asbestos covered furnaces or repairing slate roofs?

I am looking at a property in the Foxboro area. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good home inspector? 

Any experience with Sherman Home Inspectors? They seem very knowledgeable but expensive. I don't mind paying extra for a quality report if necessary.
