@ Benjamin you know nothing about my situation and why I'm even trying to seek temporary assistance. You could of kept your negative comments to yourself first off. I asked for help on the internet and this is the forum it gave me. And another thing I'm not asking anyone to feel sorry for me. That's not what I asked not one time. I simply asked what can I do. And FYI I'm a RN who had to take off for a while due to an illness. So dont jump to conclusions just because someone is needing help.you never know someone's situation. You can easily be knocked back down and be in my current situation. (Taxpayers money ok) Thank you God Bless and have a good day

@ Oren Karp I am going to follow up with my caseworker first thing in the morning. I did not know my landlord didn't get a payment the first of this month because he hasn't answered his phone in 2 weeks. And this us his first time going through the process with section 8 so he might be unaware of the time of the process. But the thing is he didn't let his reality company know that he was signing a contract with section 8 so they could pay him. I'm guessing he was going to be in two separate contracts without letting his reality company know because they don't accept section 8. I'm thinking that because they are maybe getting on to him he is trying to change His mind about taking the voucher. So bascially he has this property under a reality company that doesn't accept section 8 which I didn't know and then he turned around and signed another contract with section 8. This just doesn't seem right to me. And I didn't know any if this until today when he answered after me calling from someone else's phone

im new to the section 8 program. I was already staying in my house when I received a voucher. My landlord has been communicating with my case worker about the program signed the lease and they did inspection.  Its been 2 months that we've been waiting. Now that he said the process is taking too long he wants to evict me and change his mind about taking section 8. Can he do this??? It is not my fault. My case worker said they was going to pay him for the time he has waited after inspection. Please help me
