Hi @Charles Sullivan

Thank you for the connect and offer to meet with other investors you know. I just saw the post, so please forgive the delayed response.  Yes, I would be very interested in meeting with your team. Let me know how to make that happen.

Many thanks,

Seti

What is your opinion about sending an email with feedback to a real estate agent who has sent you a property she thinks would be of interest to you where the numbers do not work?

That's very helpful. Thank you! In fact, I went through a divorce in 1999, and that was the case for me. Although the divorce was very amicable we still wanted to get out from under our home and accepted an offer where we broke even. I was happy with that, so can understand how a motivated seller wants a solution to their problem and the amount of the sale is secondary.

@Eric Moore That is very sound advice. I will check into Turbo Scan. Have you ever read "How to Make Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie? I am a big advocate of modeling the teachings. It has helped me a tremendous amount when I had jobs that were sales oriented. Listening more than talking is one of the best skills taught in the book and I appreciate you emphasizing it as a recommendation. It demonstrates that you know what you are talking about.

Do you have any suggestions regarding what should be said in the meeting to motivate a seller to accept a deep discount?

Thanks!

When first meeting a prospective seller face to face, does anyone provide written information or a visual presentation.

If so,

What do you cover?

How many pages or slides?

What is important to cover?

What should you not cover?

Can you provide an example?

@Account Closed thanks for the information. It looks like I missed this mont's 2nd Monday meeting, but it looks like a great organization and I'll be sure to attend next month.

@Oba Tshaka I would love to meet up and talk. Let me know what works for you.

I am new to REI and looking to build a power team. I have been advised by my mentors to seek out and partner with RE Agents that have an understanding of REI and want to work with someone who is motivated to be successful in finding deals. I am located in Phoenix, AZ

What is the best way to go about finding and connecting with agents?

Thanks

Seti
