@Melanie Johnston awesome!! Thank you so much!

Hi @Melanie Johnston, I’m interested in reading the article but it seems its only available for subscribers of azcentral. Any recommendations of how else to find the article? (Besides the obvious one of buying a subscription)

Thanks!

@Joe Funari @Josh Bakhshi

Thank you for the replies! I will look for a tax expert in my area and go from there. I’ll probably stick to turnkey for my first deal for the “hands off” approach

Hello fellow investors,

My wife and I are interested in starting to invest in real estate to have a source of passive income. We are thinking of either starting with a turn-key property and eventually moving on to BRRRR or starting with BRRRR if we find a good deal. My question is should we set up a company (thinking LLC) and put our investment properties under that company? I have a successful entrepreneur uncle that has always told me the best advice he can give me is to start a company and try to charge most of my expenses to it for the tax benefits. I appreciate hearing any/all of your advice! Thank you!

Hello World! My fiance and I have always discussed what our future home would look like but recently we’ve decided to abandon (temporarily) our vision of our house and go with something that makes more financial sense. Instead of a single-family home we are now looking to purchase a duplex/triplex or twin homes in the Scottsdale/Tempe/Phoenix area. We’ve been using apps like realtor.com and zillow to find deals but we’ve noticed there are few options out there. We are looking for any advice you can spare a couple of first time home buyers who are looking to take the first step in real estate investing. Thanks in advance for the replies!
