Thank you all for the great advice! It would be my first real estate investment so I want a property I can handle. I would go as high as 250K depending onethe conditions. In terms of return that is something I wanted to ask. What would be a reasonable rate of return in this area?

Hello, 

I am interested in learning about the current market in Miami, FL. I would like to know what locations I should focus in and stay away from if I want to buy property to then rent out. What type of properties would be a good startup investment for the area? I know multifamily homes are always a good startup any advice?
