Hi everyone, 

I am considering to purchase an investment property that had foundation repair done by Straightline Foundation company in the area, lifetime transferable warranty is provided. Anyone has experience with this company? Is this a reputable company and we should expect them to honor the warranty if anything needs to be done in the future ? The warranty specifically stated that only piers are covered. 

Also, would like to get some general advices from other investors in the area, what should i pay attention to when purchasing a home with prior foundation repairs? Will prior foundation repair affect future resale value?

I am ready to jump on my first deal - buy and hold. I have equity and financing ready. I am looking to buy 3br + SFR in a good neighborhood. Mostly interested in Richardson/Garland/Rowlett/Carrollton, but open to other areas as long as the the number works, I can react quickly.

My question is - other than MLS; what are the best sources to find these deals ? Any advices are welcome.

I would love to connect with Wholesalers or individuals that have source of deals.

Hello all! I am so excited to join this community. I moved with my husband to Dallas less than a week ago. We have been always interested in real estate investment. We have had some experiences in rental properties in Georgia and Florida. We are still new to the area, so we are eager to learn any great experiences and advices from the folks here!

Our goal is to buy 2-4 rental properties in the North Dallas area in 2016. We are still exploring which cities/areas to invest in. Right now, we are interested in Richardson, Garland, Rowlett etc. I also hope to learn from the community how to find great deals in this seller market.
