The area i am particularly interested in has a 8.8% vacancy rate...is it too high,average or low?

The limit for interest deduction is 2 properties.I am sure many of you guys here pay mortgageson more then 2 properties...is there any way you can take deduction on your 3rd and 4th property?

So i was watching this tv show on hgtv called "My House Is Worth What"?,and this guy bought a house for about 1 million dollars,he did few renovations and improvements and its value appreciated to 2.5 million dollars..How is this possible?Is this even possible in real life or only tv shows?Just curious :)

Besides saving and paying extra money every month and biweekly payments,is there any other way to payoff mortgage faster?My goal is to own atleast 50 rental properties(all paid off) by 2035(i know pretty ambitious but i think its achievable).what plan/strategy do you recommend?is it good or bad to pay off mortgage faster?do you pay off your mortgage faster or not and what strategies do you use?Thanks :)
