My name is Sebastian Lough and I am a U.S. Vet that is interested in house hacking my way up to apartment complexes and I am considering Houston as a location for that purpose. I would love to connect with people in the area to get conversations started and build connections. I will move to the area in December and I am currently researching and reading a lot.

I know in Texas if you have 100 percent disability you do not have to pay property tax. That is a pretty sweet deal, you do have to be a resident and it's only one property.

My wife and I are planning to move back to Texas and Tyler has us excited in terms of investing. Looking to house hack and work my way up to apartment complexes. I was in the military so initially thinking of using a VA loan. Would love any advice about Tyler, Texas, Va loans, or realestate in general cheers
