Thank you for commenting Lelith Walker , you bring up some good points. I have a labor backroad , but not enough to know the ins and outs of construction. I'm a very sociable person , but not very knowledgable with REI , maybe I'll do more studying and more posts to get a better understanding and then will decide a game plan for myself!

Welcome to BiggerPockets George Waters ! I'm new to this as well and so far it's great! There are a lot of informative videos and forums to help answer any questions you may have. If I may ask, What parts of Long Island are looking into or curious about? I live in Queens , New York and I've been interested about the Long Island Market. Best of Luck! Sean Perinuzzi

Hello BiggerPockets! I'm new to this community, and so far I love it here! Being as new to this community as I am new to REI, I have a few questions. As a newbie to the whole thing, although I have been listening to podcasts and reviewing forum posts, What do you think the best investment is for somebody who is new to investing? (Buy and hold , flip , wholesale , Etc.) I know they all have a learning curve, but what would be the most manageable? Also , What are good traits to have in order to be a successful REI? And what are some basic things to gain knowledge on that would help me across the board? Thanks for anyone who has any input, I'm going to be posting a lot of questions I have and will also spend time learning myself , and studying up. There is something about receiving information from another person, that makes it all the more important to me. Have a great day! Sean Perinuzzi

Welcome to BiggerPockets Joseph Cuomo! I'm new to this site as well , and there is nothing but information and good people to help you along the way. What kind of properties are you looking into? Are you just looking to flip houses or buy and hold investment properties? I'm interested as to what you are interests in the Orange County are. Best of luck to you! Sean Perinuzzi

Yes Sastry Konduri , That was a good point and I can see why it would be less desirable. This may not be the property for me, but I will definitely keep looking! Thanks For The Advice! Sean Perinuzzi

Thank You David Panzera for answering my post. One question I have right now , if it's a reasonable question. What formulas or things do you look for when determining what a Multi-Family building should cost per unit. What are tell tale signs or factors that I could use not only on this property but others as well to get a better understanding of the different markets and pricing?

Thank You Mark Nolan , I'm excited to have joined! Sastry Konduri You bring up some good points on 1 bedroom apartments being less desirable and a smaller market, I didn't think of that. The only reason I figured that would be acceptable was because it is within close proximity to a school and looked at is as dorms. Brian Jordan I'm not disagreeing with you,but would like to understand a little more on how you came up with that number of 20k per door? Is that number based on net income per unit? Or where there other factors that helped you come to that number? (Neighborhood. Etc.) Once again , Thanks for all the advice it's very appreciated!
