Hey Logan, yes I am self managing it. I’m currently setting all of the money aside for potential repairs.

I am planning on investing in Chatt. Just trying to find out what’s best.

Hi Everyone! Love the community here. I currently have one single family rental in Saint Petersburg, FL. I just moved to Chattanooga TN and I am looking to start investing in some cheaper rehab homes that can be used to rent. Is Chatt a good place to do this? Should I be looking in neighboring cities? I am also wondering if it's best to use cash when buying and renovating these properties?

What do you all think?

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $297,500

Bought this with the VA Loan with the intention that it was my long term primary residence. Ended up moving to Chattanooga and renting the house out and cash flowing around 500 a month
