I have heard issues with switching the DEED back to an LLC, it can trigger a full payment of the loan. any experience with that?

Thanks, that's what i'm starting to read. the minor expense for the sale wouldn't compare to the possible headaches i'm sure. @charlescarillo

My partner and i habe an LLC that owns 1 house. Whats the best way to buy him out? We currently own it without a mortgage, but i will need money to buy him out. Shoukd i get my sole LLC to buy the house from the partner LLC? Or should i refi with the partner LLC and just buy his potion of the LLC?

The is a meetup group that i'm trying to get to. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience or heard anything about them.
I will take some time and look at the laws myself this weekend.
I think i'm getting it. If the seminar was preplanned and was for rental strategies and such I would be ok?

I really like my CPA, last year was the first time using her. I feel that she might be a overly conservative and not help me write off as much as i should. Does anyone get to write off traveling and looking for new rentals? If i travel to another state to look at a house, i was told i can only write that off if i actually buy one. Does that seem correct to everyone?
