With the weather getting warmer out, I'm wondering if anyone else has come across issues with having to install AC window units in their rental properties?

There might be a little frustration on my part...

Back story:  I have an upper unit of a duplex in Bayview Milwaukee without central air and with a nice older lady leasing it.  She was an inherited tenant been there 15 years that is getting an extreme steal on the space (rent will be going up soon to get closer to market, reason hasn't already, is purchasing another duplex and wanted to limit vacancies.)  I kindly agreed to take out the ac units during the winter months due to windows being drafty and kindly agreed to reinstall the units again, however with this older Bayview home the windows are swing open making it very challenging to install the last unit.  I'm wondering whose responsibility is it to do these installs? if all the ac units are hers and I'm struggling to get the final large unit installed?  Am I being too nice doing this for her since they are her units, or is it my responsibility to do so?

This might sound a little complainy pants, but for the deal she is getting it becomes frustrating for these little projects.  I'm thinking of getting central air installed in the next year or 2, which will most likely price her out of the unit.  Any thoughts on this matter?  Sorry for the little ranting.

Seamus Holloway with Homebuyer Associates.

Seamus Holloway from Homebuyer Associates he's an exclusive buyer agent (research this if you don't know what they do).  Extremely knowledgeable and makes the buying process objective which is great for finding rental properties.

I have the same opinion and have done what Jeff has done in Milwaukee Area also.  All the guests have been very clean and respectful.  You might get some interesting views and judgments from friends and family, but once you get over that American stigma of having "strangers stay in your place" it'll be a great experience!  I've had friends that have travelled abroad and only stayed in Air BnB's with nothing but good things to say about it.

@ Dan K

I've worked with Waterstone, had some issues on communication with them during underwriting phase, now working with Pyramax and have had a very good experience so far would recommend them.  Loan officer there that I'm working with is Shane LaMacchia.
