Hi @Jessica Freesia I am looking for cash flow to get started. I don't plan on selling anything anytime soon, but passive income is the goal! 

A friend and I are learning the ropes of investing out of state. He is in Boston and I'm in Portland, and we know some people in Texas who helped us find an agent and began a search for us. We came across this property below and both like it, but want to make sure are numbers look realistic. We'd love to hear any advice!

@William Graves Hey Will! I'm just starting out in Portland as well. I'd recommend checking out Rare Birds meet ups if you're looking to network. That'll be the best place to start! 

@Grant Rothenburger I couldn't agree more! I was actually talking about the Pro Perks in the BP Store though. Like Leadpropeller, Rentredi etc. that give discounts on different services. I'm curious which of these people have had success with.

Hey everyone-

I'm just curious to hear what perks people take advantage from BP. There's a million and a half pro perks to choose from- which have you had the most success with?

A friend of mine in Houston had set me up with a well known agent in the area. I have a few searches set up and have started to narrow in on 2 properties, but have no out of state investing experience. I'd love to connect with anyone who has experience investing out of state and who would be willing to answer a few questions and help me out.

It seems like it is pretty specific instances in which you'd pay that fee. If you look at the site, there is a ton of different exemptions. If you're planning on living in the property, you and your agent should be able to find you a way to get a property without having to pay that relocation fee.

Hey BP!

Can anyone in the Portland OR area point me in the right direction on a great home inspection, roofing, contractor etc.? I'm looking to close on my first property which is a duplex and have a 7 day inspection period.
