@Sarita Scherpereel

Thank you for your response. We did close in November. The lender has not recommended anyone. They pretty much just say we need to find someone. We do have a 203k consultant (I think that's the term) due to the rehab amount borrowed. He has recommended people, but they have failed to respond as well.

Hello all, my wife and I purchased a property with a FHA 203K loan. We have been through 3 contractors at this point. 2 backed out due to the way the payment works on this loan and one didn't give a reason just stopped responding. We do live in a rural area and some contractors we spoke with said it was too far of a drive to do the project. Can any of you recommend a contractor in the Mt. Alto WV area? Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone. I moved to the Charleston area a couple of months ago. I don't know anyone here with the exception of my wife's family. They do not invest in real estate. I would like to get to know some like-minded individuals and get this journey started. I see that in the past there have been meet ups. Do you all still meet up? If so where and when?
