Post: College Student Seeking Advice

Hello BP,

I'm currently junior in college in Ohio and am interested in real estate investing. I'm very early in my journey and am not quite ready to invest, but I am trying to educate myself as much as possible now so that when the time comes in a couple years I am informed and ready. So far I've been reading BP, listening to podcasts, reading books, and added real estate as a second major.

My first questions are as follows: Should I pursue a real estate license now while I have a little more time as opposed to when I have a full time job? Do most investors have their license and represent themselves to save the realtor fees? I don't have an interest in becoming a real estate agent, so it'd just be to represent myself to save money. I'd love any other more generic advice (unrelated to the above questions) for a college student if anyone has any!

Thanks!
