Post: Sourcing deals as a beginner!

Hello all,

I recently found two mentors to teach me the fix and flip business in the San Francisco Bay Area. Initially I was going to try wholesaling, but ultimately I wanted to get to fix and flips, so it worked out beautifully. I am struggling to figure out how to find deals on my own. My mentor gave me a list of about 70 target houses in the area, which I have since door knocked and dropped off fliers.

I figure the process of finding a ripe deal has a basic system. What would that system look like? Where should you start for finding off-market deals?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Scott
