thanks guys.  Cody, i purchased a house in Baker, LA (suburb of Baton Rouge).  i'm willing to go anywhere in south louisiana, but think i need to stay in the Baton Rouge area for now until i get my feet wet.  

robert, what is The Ring and how do i view it? i'd like to see it. also, what is a REIA? thanks.

i just purchased my first rent house back in june.  looking to expand my properties and am wanting to see everyone's advice.
