Hi all,

I'm Scott, I'm in Washington State and I'm at a career transition. I think I want to continue doing what I'm doing professionally and work with real estate on the side. The tutorials on here seem helpful and I'm sure I'll get a lot out of it.

I'm interested in residential rental property and maybe commercial. I have no problem putting some work into a place but I want to make sure I'm not throwing money away. I also want to use the site to help me determine how to get funding for such ventures.

My biggest question right now is location. I live in Washington and have a house here on the coast. My 2nd home is in Colorado Springs and I currently rent that one out (I'm breaking even, not making much, but I'm happy with that). I'm most interested in buying more property in Colorado because I have help there, but I'm wondering if another market might be a better place to sink my money. Arizona, Nevada, etc. Does anyone have any input?

Have a great day! I'm going to start listening to the podcasts on my way home tonight.

Scott
