The realtor from Boulder thinks it’s a great idea to spend over half a million dollars on a house in Boulder!

I'm excited for another chance to meet some west of Randall folks again.  I was thinking that maybe this time we can all come with some real estate goals to share; short (monthly) and long (>5 years).  Sometimes just sharing your goal with a group can get the ball rolling!  If you don't have any current goals maybe some of our goals will inspire you.

Just something to think about!

Good question, Melissa.  I'm currently in the same boat.  I'm going to see a lawyer but I would like to know where to start so I can understand the lawyer and make sure I'm cool with the deal.  Hopefully somebody on BP can help us out.  I imagine if folks can't explain it they probably don't understand it! :)

Greg S., can you please explain how equity loses income? Specifically the 10k vs $83/month. That concept is new to me.

Hi gang, my name is Scott and I'm super pumped to be a member of this sweet site.  I love investing and learning more about how the world around us works.  I spent six years in the United States and have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  I work a a full time job that is very demanding so I'm slowly getting my feet wet in real estate.  I want to invest part-time in buy-and-hold properties; my goal is to have 50 properties by my 50th birthday.

In my free time I enjoy following Chicago sports, playing the guitar, seeing live music, and spending time with my friends and family. Travel is a passion and I've been to 8 countries; my favorite thus far being Italy. I am happily married and my wife and I just had our first kid in May.

I could talk forever but I'd rather just talk over coffee, lunch, or beers.

I look forward to spending more time on this site and getting to know some of you!
