@Brandon Knudtson thats good to hear.  I figured out a spread sheet that has been working well for my 1 property but i could definitely see how Stessa could be useful.  Thanks for the update

@Garrett Jensen So far I can't find out much about it.  I'll probably wait a bit to sign up till I hear from more people how it is.  I finally made myself a spreadsheet for my 1 property that I think will work fine for now.

@Rich E. thank for letting me know.  I'll have to check it out.

Hello all.  Has anyone actually used Stessa?  It was advertised on the last episode of the BP podcast #295.  I have 1 property as of now and have been doing little to nothing to track income and expenses.  Need to remedy that quick.  Stessa seems to be free if you only own a few properties.  Just wondering how easy it is to use and how well it works?  It sounds like most people use Quickbooks which I also have no idea how to use.  Just looking for a better way to keep track of all the ins and outs of my property.  Let me know what you all think.

Thanks

Scot

@Mindy Jensen @Scott Trench Your welcome.  I'm 100% sure this podcast was all because of this super popular post.  I just have to listen to todays episode and I'm all caught up.  Oh and thanks a lot guys I'm sure my boss loves that I spend about 60% of my work day reading Mr. Money Mustache after episode 1.  Great show. Keep it up.

Get a Job dude.  Make School a priority over that job.  Your 14 don't rule out things like the military or college.  Your way to young to rule anything out plus your limiting yourself.  Not saying you have to go to college or the military.  Just don't rule them out. Keep hustling.

@Katie Bader I am going threw the same thing. Except I still have 12 years on my rental property. It is worth significantly more then I bought it for. So I go back and forth between cash out refi and HELOC. leaning towards the HELOC because in 12 years that thing will be free and clear. You have equity in your home may as well use a little as long as your smart about it. Good Luck

@Patti Robertson Thanks for the advice.  I am trying to stay clear of section 8 and am more interested in this being a hirer end rental.

@Amber Gonion Thanks.  That would be funny if it happened to be the same people.
