Thank you all very much! I have been reading a lot of articles and different forums on this sight. There is so much information! I'm very excited to learn everything I can. I have no doubt that being involved in this forum will be very valuable in my journey into real estate investing. @Brandon Turner I did find The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing and read it. I am going back through it again. I am very detailed and want to be ready for everything and I am noticing that is probably the biggest reason I have not made my first purchase yet. However, realizing the problem is the first step to fixing it, right? I wish you all the best and thank you very much for making me feel so welcome. :-)

Hi everyone! I am Stephanie Cordle; wife, mother of 4 and a small business owner (toy store). I have always had an interest in real estate but I've never really had the guts to just jump in. After reading some articles on here (which I tripped over during a google search), I think I may be in a stall pattern. I think I have the system of analyzing down, but that's where it stops. I have managed to get up the nerve to go look at a few houses, but I am so nervous about taking that next step, even when the numbers make sense, I freeze. My long term goal is to invest in local property (mainly residential rentals) to have enough monthly income so that my husband can quit his job and we can enjoy this journey we call life. (He doesn't hate his job, but works crazy swing shifts and it is difficult for us to have anytime as a family.) So, this is me in a nutshell. Any advise, comments, etc is VERY welcome!!! LOL
