@Stephen Morales

Hey Stephen, thanks for the warm welcome!

I’d definitely appreciate that—especially any tips on getting started and what a good workflow looks like. I’ve been diving into wholesaling recently, so having guidance from someone with your experience would be super valuable.

And yeah, coming from a project management background, I’m all about structure and systems—so if you’ve got a process that’s worked for you, I’d love to hear it.

Looking forward to connecting more!

Hey Jabali, thanks for the message and encouragement—I really appreciate it.

I haven't formed my LLC just yet, but it's definitely something I plan to do soon. I've been doing my homework on the legal and tax side, and I completely agree—it's smart to protect myself and set things up right from the start. I want to make sure I'm building this on solid ground, especially as I start talking to sellers and buyers.

Thanks again for the insight—really helpful stuff. Looking forward to learning and growing in this space.

That sounds like a solid win-win setup. I’m just getting started with wholesaling and currently building my pipeline of leads in the Temple/Killeen area, so having a connection like you and your investor network could definitely help move deals faster.

I’d be open to working together and referring investor buyers who need management support your way. And if any of your clients are looking for specific types of properties, feel free to send that over—I’d be happy to keep an eye out.

Let’s stay in touch as I start locking in some opportunities!

Hey BP Community,

I'm based in Temple, Texas, and just getting started in wholesaling. I'm looking to connect with experienced wholesalers or investors who are open to sharing knowledge, mentorship, or even JV opportunities.

I’m not looking for handouts—I’m willing to hustle, bring value, and learn the business the right way. Whether it’s helping with cold calling, driving for dollars, building buyer lists, or handling follow-up, I’m ready to put in the work and earn my stripes.

My background is in project management, so I’m used to staying organized, managing moving parts, and seeing things through. I eventually want to run my own deals, but right now my focus is on learning and adding value wherever I can.

If you’re open to connecting or mentoring, I’d love to chat. Thanks in advance to anyone who’s willing to help a motivated beginner get started.

Let’s connect and make something happen.

@Austin Johnson

I appreciate your feedback, this is very helpful. I will definitely be looking for a place to help me grow and become more knowledgeable.

@Sean McDonnell

Hi Sean, I am located in Central Texas area, thank you for the information. I will definitely check out the seven levels of communication!

@Michael Dumler Thank you for sharing your advice with me.

Hello everyone,

I have decided to get my real estate license, I am currently taking the courses needed. Any suggestions on things I should start doing now while I’m in the process?

@Kyle J.

Thank you! I thought about using the loan to purchase a house and flip it, then purchase a duplex.

I would like to purchase a duplex to rent as my first property. Is a hard money loan worth it if my credit is not where it should be for a bank loan?
