Hey fellow Bpeers

Today I went driving for dollars with a good friend of mine in a section of the Bronx called Wakefield as well as Mt. Vernon. I have to say it was a good experience, got to scout the neighborhood and got two leads from just a 30 min ride. I'm following up on those leads and hopefully I can make a deal happen. My friend actually caught the REI bug and wants to learn more so I plugged him on BP. So, I have to say it was a good day..

Hey Nicholas DeLouisa Jr Trust me, it is a scary road, I'm in that same road now, but it's just like learning to do a new job once you start doing it it'll be easier. That's how I'm looking at things.. You want to know what even scarier, you turning 65 and finding out there's not social security for you and your pension will not be enough when you're ready to retire. I'm always looking ahead and I'm not going to depend on no one but myself to provide for my future and that of my family. Don't let the negativity get the best of you. Keep going, keep studying and take action. That's what I'm doing right now.. Welcome to real estate investing and best of luck to you bud!

Quick question, how do you come up with demographics for these areas and job growth. as you can tell I'm new at this and I'm just starting to figure all this out. what type of research do you do to come up with the figures about the cities and migration patterns. thanks in advance

@christopher u thanks so much that's really helpful advice I will start doing that tonight. It's gonna be a challenge but I know I will get all my ideas and goals down.. @j Scott I was just confused on how I get my numbers on how I'm going to purchase my properties how and how my business is supposed to get financed and so on.. @john Steele thanks for the advice. I'm definitely going with @christopher u advice.. Thanks guys
