@Saransh Qonunov, as a licensed real estate agent in Georgia, I'll share with you exactly what you need to do to acquire your license.

1. I used Aceable Agent to take my required 75-hour course. The course is very user-friendly and relatively cheap.

2. Watch Prep Agent and take his practice exams. This is the best individual in the industry to teach you the dry and boring material in a somewhat fun/easily digestible manner. Study your vocabulary using Quizlet flash cards.

3. Once you pass your final course exam, sign up to take the State and National Exam.

You have the above information to help you get started, but I have to be very upfront. What makes you want to get your real estate license? I'm not trying to steer you in the wrong direction, but the industry can be ruthless. Are you looking to be in sales full-time? What is your major in college? If you are serious about being a full-time agent, ideally, you need to shadow an experienced agent.

Thank you so much for the breakdown and details on how to do it. I heard from a lot of people that Aceable Agent is the best. I want to acquire the license to better understand how sales work. I am aware that I will need a mentor, and I know that it is a ruthless market to be in. However, my end goal is to use it as knowledge for investing, I do not pursue being an agent as a career, just as an entry to the industry. I know how much work it will require of me. I am majoring in finance as of now, but many people have suggested marketing. It is not too late for me to change seeing as I am still taking the requisite classes for business majors. I was told marketing gives you an idea of how to be a salesman and helps with real estate. But I appreciate the response and please let me know how I can utilize this platform to my benefit and what can I do to stay informed on here.

Thank you!!!

I just started learning more about bigger pockets and how real estate works. I wanted to know how I could start in Georgia. I couldn't find an appropriate website with a good online real estate licensing course. I want to become an agent before I even start investing. I am a sophomore in college and very eager to try it out. Do you have any ideas on which website is best to study and get my license?

Also if you guys have any advice on better ways to utilize being a real estate agent to your advantage as an investor?
