When performing your due diligence with potential GC's, what are the four most important qualities a GC has?  What must they always have/do for you to feel comfortable the GC is experienced and reliable?

Hi All!  Just a heads up there will be a FREE real estate seminar coming to the Tampa Bay area on May 20th.  Below is the link to get yourself registered if interested.

Christine,

I have worked with several contractors through my work in the architecture field.   I can give you a few numbers of guys who have had a long relationship with the business.   I also think a lot of users will agree-price is not everything.  There are a lot of contractors that have no business being licensed.  Let me know if interested.

Hi all! I'm really interested in spending more time learning and networking in my area of St. Petersburg, FL (or the Tampa Bay area). I've found a meet up through meetup.com but is anyone aware of other resources of where to find local REIA's?

I've heard advice through several podcasts that if one bank turns you down, to keep trying until you get a "yes."  Can anyone give more insight on this topic.  My impression would be this would hinder my credit.  How would this effect me if I did not have a business account set in place (or would that be the first step to take)?

If I did have a business account set up, would that still not cripple by business reputation?  I am new to investing and trying to learn as much as I can.
