@Troy Gandee is a very investor-friendly Broker. We use his office to sell all our flips. Highly recommend his brokerage! It's called Maven Realty. 

There's the MLS and I'm sure a local realtor could set you up with a search. @Troy Gandee is a Broker, and he has some awesome agents.

How did you get set up with this? I’m a notary, but don’t know where to start to find a company to do mobile notary with.

We live in Charleston and flip houses, while also having an Airbnb.  We love it here, and are finding great success in our flipping business. On top of this, there’s a fantastic community of fellow investors who are all about being “Go Givers”. We’ve found great partners and resources through this network. Our business wouldn’t be as successful as it is without this amazing network of fellow investors. 

@Meghan McGill some parts are in the City (my next-door-neighbors are), but some are in the Town of James Island still. Just depends who joined the city when they annexed.

Hi Meghan! I live on James Island and have a STR in my home. You are right that in order to be legal in most jurisdictions, you must live on the property. If you are in the City of Charleston, there area a few other items you must check off on (age of home in relation to vicinity to downtown, etc.). Many places do not enforce their ordinances unless a neighbor complains (As in the case of James Island). The City of Charleston is another issue....they are pretty strict.
