Thanks for the reply @Todd Faulk

I own the land out right, I had other plans for it that fell through so for now this seems like a good option. I did hear about environmental issues like that, I'll have to look into it. The current owner does have the trucks stored somewhere else and is on a month to month lease. I'm meeting with him tommorow, so I'll see how much info he's willing to share. Thanks for the tip on calling other moving companies.

I was recently contacted by a small moving company who wants space to park their trucks. I'm not sure where to start and I havent been able to find much information online. The vacant land im leasing is 1/2 acre, no restrictions. I have a couple questions, should I rent it out by the truck or just lease them the whole 1/2 acre? Would there be a difference on the insurance, on my part? The owner of the moving company also said he would pitch in to pour gravel down as long a I gave him a year lease. Thank you in advance.

If you decide to do one on the weekends let me know. I've been thinking of setting one up for one weekend a month.

Like many of us, I've been looking to replace my current job with something more closely related to real estate. I'm currently in the auto industry and need to make a change in my schedule for my family (from overnight to day shift) while I work on my investing on the side. I found this entry-level job as an Investment Real Estate Sales Consultant.

Does anybody here have any experience with this kind of job?

What should I expect?

How is the pay?

Thank You

I'm on the Southeast side of Houston, I actually went out of town Thursday for an emergency then came back Friday morning to get my daughter and check on my family. I ended up getting stuck at my parent's house. So far we haven't had any water get inside, but the last time I saw my primary there was a small leak in the roof. I've tried to evacuate to Austin but the highways were closed. I should have left the same day I came back. @Santos Collantes where's your flip located, I may be nearby.

My schedule is better for weekends. I'm located in the Hobby area, so any one of those spots is fine with me.
