Hello everyone!

First things first, a little bit about myself: my name is Santiago and I just moved to NYC (Forest Hills, to be precise). I'm in the process of getting my RE sales associate license (just started the course).

I'm looking for advice on which brokerage to work for once I'm licensed, preferrably one with strong education packages & support (aka lead generation tools) for new agents. Also, I want to ask if somebody is willing to take me as his/her mentee. I can help out with any tasks, even work as an assistant.

I showed up today at 18:30 at the address given, however there was nobody there. I met two other gentlemen who wanted to attend the meeting, but the brokerage was closed. Would you be able to tell me if today’s meetup was canceled because of the holiday, and if next month there will be another one?

This is Santiago. I just moved to Ogden, UT all the way from Spain. I am new in this world and don't own any rentals yet.
