I recently got my real estate agent license and need to start an LLC and I also want to get into Real Estate Investing. I've been trying to find a tax strategist/CPA as well as attorneys here in the Richmond, VA area who specialize in Real Estate but haven't been successful yet. Where are you guys? I want to find someone who can help us set things up the smartest way, strategically plan the year and avoid taxes (legally within the code obviously) and it would be great to be able to meet face-to-face every now and then.

Hi!

I'm an absolute rookie reading books and listening to as many podcasts as possible to try to learn and get into Real Estate Investing. I hear about going to meet-ups, conferences and masterminds but I can't figure out where one finds these things. I've of course googled but a lot seems to be gurus selling stuff and that's not really want I'm looking for. After hearing Brandon mention BPCon on an episode today I searched for it in BP and found information about it. Unfortunately I can't attend but where do I find other conferences like this? And what are masterminds? Is that also some type of meet-up?
