I bought an out of state property and have about $50,000 left to pay off for the loan. Anyone know if paying 1 huge principle payment at the end of each year would pay it off faster verses bi weekly payments?

Are you paying it off because you don’t like having debt, or because the interest you’re paying is higher than the return on the money you can receive by investing it (on a risk adjusted basis?).  Or because you’re trying to decrease risk?  In other words are the reasons for paying off debt early financial or emotional?

Just don't like having debt. I've got money Just sitting in the bank anyway and wanted to Just pay it off. Interest is low on the house and has a great cash flow, always has been. Just wanted to see what the easiest way to finish paying it off was.

Hey Everyone! I'm currently planning on buying a rental property near or around the dallas/ fort worth area! I've learned through talking to a few people on here that counties/ cities outside the dallas/ fort worth area tend to be cheaper and have lower property taxes. Is there anyone who can recommend cities or counties that have good cash flow, low property taxes and low vacancy rates?

Hey Everyone! I'm looking to invest in a rental property in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area of Texas next year! Can anyone who has invested in these areas share there input as to what the rental/ housing market is like out there? Certain areas that are ideal for renters, What are the weather conditions, property taxes, average cost of rent etc...? Any information would be helpful :)

Hey Everyone! This is just a heads up to anyone who uses Zuluscape as the property manager, I have been using this company for almost 3 years but slowly there quality in management has declined. Most recently they had just finished fixing a mold situation in the bathroom which they guaranteed stayed under my escrow limit and that the matter was resolved. But after I notified them that I would be switching over to another management company I was suddenly hit with a charge of over 400$ for "Additional Repair Work" without a breakdown of how this charge came to be and without an Invoice. Its charges & situations like these why I have chosen to move on from Zuluscape to other more professional companies who can communicate & handle situations like these properly. Just felt like posting this to anyone who has been considering switching from Zuluscape to other management companies.......I highly recommend it.
